Inclusive approaches to peace processes

Inclusive approaches to peace processes

Session blurb

This session will focus on the development of more inclusive approaches to transitional justice, peace talks and peacebuilding. Although there is strong empirical evidence that inclusive peace processes which include women and multiple stakeholders are more successful and sustainable, women and minorities are still excluded from the process in most cases. In line with the theme of this year’s conference this session will discuss concrete measures that can be taken to achieve a more inclusive and diverse peace process.
